Pasteur

September 28th, 1895. On a beautiful autumn day, Louis Pasteur is living his last hours, waiting to die quietly in his mansion in Marnes-la-coquette.

The old man’s tranquility is however disturbed by a young and inexperienced priest, who Pasteur’s wife Marie asked to give his husband the last rites.

The priest will have to deal with Louis’ pride and acrimony, the old man trying to stop him from accomplishing the rites by any means. But behind this façade of bitterness, Pasteur hides a heavy secret.
